Christina Meyer (she/her) is a licensed therapist who received her MSW from Silberman School of Social Work, Hunter College and completed the pre-analytic training program at the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. She primarily works with adults in individual therapy, and her professional experience has focused on working with issues related to gender, sexuality, migration, and interpersonal/structural violence. She works psychoanalytically to explore clients’ patterns, fantasies, and histories in the context of their sociopolitical realities. From these explorations, she seeks to collaborate with clients to create new meanings and narratives of their lives in order to help them live with greater autonomy, honesty, and freedom.
