Xiqiao Chen (pronounced She-Chow; she/her) is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at New School for Social Research, where she is a Prize Fellow. Xiqiao is interested in the integration of critical consciousness, decolonial liberatory practice, and psychoanalysis. Her dissertation examines imposter syndrome and the crisis of identity and selfhood in America.

Drawing from a diverse range of clinical environments, including addiction treatment centers, inpatient psychiatric units, outpatient clinics, college counseling centers, and crisis outreach facilities, Xiqiao hopes to continue working with clients from diverse backgrounds.

She received a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Vanderbilt University. Xiqiao provides therapy in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
