Dr. Fernanda Sofio is a Psychology Intern in New York and both a psychoanalyst and licensed psychologist in São Paulo, Brazil. She is an Active Member of the American Psychoanalytic Association and has been in private practice since 2007. She practices in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Fernanda Sofio has published books on psychoanalysis and literature and psychoanalysis in the hospital setting and has edited books on Brazilian psychoanalysis.

Dr. Sofio completed her doctorate at the Institute of Psychology at the University of São Paulo. She received a B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy/Political Science from Boston University.
