Letters of Surgical Necessity for Gender-Affirming Procedures

 

The process of pursuing gender-affirming surgeries can be emotionally, mentally, and financially taxing. We aim to minimize stress and gatekeeping by following an informed consent model with clients. We offer single-session evaluations for letters of surgical necessity, which can be shared directly with surgeon’s offices and insurance companies. The fee for these evaluations is set on an income-based sliding scale from $0 to $250.

 

For individuals who are interested in deeper self-exploration around gender or who could benefit from support, we offer (but never require) ongoing therapy with a knowledgeable, trans-affirming provider.
