Nicholas Mendoza, MSW, MDiv
Nicholas is an MSW and therapist at the Greene Clinic. Prior to pursuing a career as a psychotherapist he was training as a religious studies scholar at Harvard University. His academic work uses psychoanalysis and critical theory to explore the interweavings of queer embodiment, desire, and communal practice.
Nicholas brings to his therapeutic work a relational focus, one which uses compassion and imagination to help clients explore and transform their relationships with themselves and others. He believes that meaning and play sustain and nourish us and hopes through therapy to assist others in enhancing and deepening their own experiences of aliveness.
Nicholas holds an MDiv from Harvard Divinity School and is a Doctoral Candidate in Religion, Gender, and Culture at Harvard University.
